If a product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship at any time during the life of the product, we will replace it free of charge. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may vary, from state to state, province to province, country to country.

Master Lock is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. This warranty does not cover products which have been abused, altered, damaged, misused, cut or worn. Products over 10 years old will be evaluated and inspected for abuse, alteration, damage, misuse, and wear prior to warranty coverage.

]]><![CDATA[Low Cost Locks For School Lockers]]>Fri, 15 May 2015 22:23:13 GMThttp://www.southeastlocksupply.com/all-about-locks/low-cost-locks-for-school-lockers How does a middle school or high school break free from the cost of purchasing locks for school lockers?  This was a question recently asked by a customer of ours in North Carolina.  By transitioning them to a student-based lock purchasing strategy, we saved our customer thousands of dollars each year and actually created a profit for their school.  Here is how we helped them accomplish their goal:

Our customer purchased a quantity of 500 of the 1525 Master Lock with key control which is roughly equivalent to the number of incoming freshmen students that they are expecting in the fall.  By selecting locks with key control, our customer can manage the lock system yet avoid the tedious process of keeping track of lock combinations.  Each incoming student was charged a $5 fee which was included with their other student fees.  In their student fee packet was the following letter:

Dear Parent or Guardian,

          During incoming student orientation, your student will be given two locks.  These locks will provide security for his or her hallway locker and gym locker.  We ask that you encourage your student to safeguard these locks so that they may be used for the entire duration of your student’s educational journey here at All American High School.  We use a special type of lock that allows for control key access in case the locker needs to be accessed by school officials.  For this reason, we can not allow students to bring their own locks and any locks that don’t comply with our control key system will be removed.  Replacement locks may be purchased from the school office for $10.00.

Certainly, there are variations of this process.  For example, some school districts allow the PTO or other fundraising groups to manage this process as a fundraiser.  The bottom line for you is that your lock program is fully funded.
